A table lamp takes up a surface and an overhead light flattens a room. The Willa Linear Wall Lamp does neither. It sits flush against the wall in a slim horizontal line and lights the space without claiming any of it. Because it is completely wireless, the wall it goes on does not need an outlet behind it.
The lamp charges over USB and runs on a built-in battery, so this cordless wall light mounts above a headboard, along a gallery wall, or over a bookshelf with no wiring at all. A remote handles on and off, brightness, and an auto timer, and three color modes shift the light between warm, neutral, and cool. It works well as picture-frame lighting over standard-thickness frames, casting a soft ambient wash rather than a hard spotlight. Choose gold, black and gold, or brushed nickel, in three lengths from 27 to 50 inches.
