It takes an E27 bulb, and a standard US E26 bulb fits it; the shade is open underneath, so you reach the bulb easily. It is rated 9W and lights about 108 to 161 square feet (10 to 15 m²). Travertine is natural stone, so the pits and tones of your shade are its own. It is hardwired, so a licensed electrician should connect it.
