Most toggle switches ask nothing of your hand and give nothing back. This one answers with a cross knurled lever that grips your fingertip and flips with a firm, deliberate action, set on a 2mm hand-brushed solid brass panel. The brass is brushed by hand, so its surface is faintly uneven and unique on every plate, and the knurled lever against that finished face gives the switch a considered, two-part quality that molded plastic never reaches.
The panel is 2mm solid brass over a 2mm acrylic frame, giving the face a weight that settles into the wall rather than sitting on top of it. It is a single-gang switch that fits a standard American box at 72 x 120mm, runs at 120VAC, and is UL certified for both the US and Canada. Wire it single-pole for one location or 3-way to control a light from two, depending on your setup. The bottom box is bought separately.
