The Sula folding book lamp closes like a book with a wood cover, and when you open it the tear resistant paper pages fan out and glow from inside. Open it part way for a fan of light, or open it 360 degrees so the covers meet and it stands as a lantern.
Pick your size by where it will sit: small 3.9" x 3.1" (10 x 8 cm) for a shelf or travel bag, medium 5.9" x 4.3" (15 x 11 cm) for a nightstand, or large 8.7" x 6.7" (22 x 17 cm) as a table centerpiece. Each is 1" (2.5 cm) thick when closed, with a light wood cover, so it closes flat. A built in LED switches between warm, cool and natural white. It runs up to 8 hours on a charge and recharges over the included USB cable, so you need no outlet nearby while it is lit.
