The Day Birch solar hanging garden light is made from solid iron in a heart form with an attached wind chime and a crackled glass lampshade, combining a visual and auditory presence in one outdoor fixture. The polysilicon solar panel charges the NI-MH 1.2V AA600MA rechargeable battery over 8 to 10 hours and powers the warm white 3000K LED output for 6 to 8 hours at night, with no manual switching required. At 7.5" (19cm) wide, 4.3" (11cm) deep, and 41.3" (105cm) tall the piece has enough height to read clearly when suspended in a garden, on a balcony, in a backyard, or outside a window.
The IP65 waterproof rating keeps the iron and glass construction performing through outdoor weather conditions across all seasons, and the crackled glass lampshade diffuses the warm white light into a soft glow at 3V and 6-7L lumens output. The iron heart form and wind chime element give the fixture a character that is present whether the light is on or off, during the day or after dark.
