You have a blank wall over a sofa or a desk and want a piece that looks like decor and still tells the time. The Skien silent wall clock is three overlapping pebble shapes with a printed stone look texture, and plain black hands and numerals keep the time easy to read. Its quartz movement runs without a tick, so it stays quiet in your bedroom or study.
To pick a size, measure your wall: the clock comes 11.7" (29.7 cm), 13.7" (34.7 cm), and 15.6" (39.5 cm) across, the largest about the width of a laptop screen, and each is 1.2" (3 cm) thick, so it sits close to the wall. The 11.7" suits a hallway or the space above a desk, the 13.7" a bedroom and the 15.6" a living room wall. It hangs from a single point on the back. It runs on one AA battery, not included, so keep one on hand for your clock; a carbon zinc AA is recommended over an alkaline one.
