The vertical glass form turns the LED into a warmer, richer color, and the warm 3000K light pools softly outward at table height. The integrated LED is rated for 50,000 hours, over 34 years at 4 hours a day. It plugs in with a 59-inch cord, so there is no hardwiring, and it is for indoor use.
