The Day Birch oil lamp holds an open flame inside a clear glass cylinder set within a sleek metal frame, producing the kind of soft, flickering glow that no bulb quite replicates. The sturdy steel base keeps the lamp steady on a table or surface, and the glass cylinder is removable for straightforward fuel refills using ethyl alcohol at +75% or lamp oil, neither of which is included in the box. A fire extinguisher comes with the lamp so the flame can be put out safely whenever needed.
The Medium size measures 8.7" (22cm) x 4.7" (12cm) and the Large measures 11" (28cm) x 7.1" (18cm), both available in Black and White finishes that keep the metal frame from competing with whatever it sits alongside. Decoration stones are included to complete the presentation out of the box, alongside the housing case, steel base, combustion chamber, and glass cylinder. The open flame and clear glass make the lamp as much a visual object as a light source, suited to a dinner table, a mantle, or any surface where a still, warm glow sets the right tone for the space.
