The jade glass diffuses the bulb into a gentle accent glow that covers roughly 5 square meters, ideal for smaller spaces and layered lighting rather than whole-room brightness. It is dimmer compatible, so you can pair it with a dimmer switch, sold separately, and shift from bright to soft. Because it is damp rated, this ceiling light also suits bathrooms and covered outdoor areas. It uses a standard E26 or E27 socket and takes tubular T10 or T30 bulbs up to 40 watts, and it comes in two heights and in gold or black with green or white glass.
