When one light hangs in the middle of your living room or bedroom, you want it to fill the space gently. The Britt has a ribbed fabric shade that lets light through its whole surface, so the saucer glows and your room gets calm, even light from above.
The shade is fabric over a metal frame, with a metal base, and measures 12 inches (30.5 cm) across and 7 inches (17.8 cm) tall. It hangs on an adjustable cord of up to 5 feet (1.5 m), so you can set it low over a table or higher in the middle of a room. It is rated to light about 108 to 161 sq ft (10 to 15 m²), which suits a medium living room or bedroom. It is hardwired for a clean ceiling finish, so a licensed electrician should connect it to your ceiling box. Hang it over a sofa, a bed or a round dining table, where your guests see its rounded shape from every side.
